Charity Truckers 200 Rules Clarifications

Orlando FL. 10-30-2007 -
Event promoter Rick Bristol released these clarifications for the 2nd Annual Charity Truckers 200 slated for December 14th & 15th at Orlando Speedworld.

We will run Good Year tires 2663 rights 2462 lefts - 6 Tire limit 4 you qualify and start race on and two you can change at 1/2 way break. There is stock now and still coming, call and get yours soon. We will have tires at event, but the stagger selection may not be as you would like. There is plenty now.

We will not allow the 1.6 rocker arms for this event. You must run 1.5 rockers. Please keep yours around for this event.

A change in the weight rule for left side. since all the series allow 57% we will use that same rule for this event. It changed since last years and it will make it easier. So again 57% left maximum no tolerance.

For any other rules questions you can call Carl Green 1-863-859-5525 or Ted Head 407-557-7907.

Remember if any items come up at the event. The decision of Ted Head, Carl Green will be final. They may use weight to equal the competition. There will be a stiff tech procedure, so please have your trucks right. It will make everyone's life much easier. Thanks and we look forward to seeing you all December 14th & 15th.

FASCAR/FASTRUCK Rule Books are the same on most all rules. There are a few exceptions and then a few things that we will change for this race.

We will be firm with the rules in an effort to make all feel they have an equal shot.

We at one event will not be able to check every single thing in the rule book, but for things that can cause an unfair advantage we will try to check all of that throughout the event and the different tech times.

The following are clarifications for this event :
* No protests will be honored - we will tech hard, and do not want a war.

* Air intake rule will be as FASTRUCK rule reads. Most be metal box. No plastic,  No carbon fiber or fiberglass. No plastic air cleaner tops. K & N Filters allowed.

* Shock rule will be same except $200.00 as in FASCAR rule applies.

* Weight rule will be 2850lbs.
Minimum with 57% left side. We will refuel after the  Race to check weight. No penalty for fiberglass nose or tail pieces

* Frame heights are, frame 6" minimum, Body 4"all the way around, without driver

*  Rear spoiler rule is as follows 6" max height, 5 minimum with 60" width Max.The angle will be minimum 60 maximum 75 degrees.

* Tires -
You will run Goodyear R2663 or L2462, no hoosiers
A six tire limit is in force 4 you qualify and start race on, and the two you will Change during the race. You can change any two you want but they all have to be  Presented and approved and marked to be in pit. If you have a flat an official has To see to change that extra tire. No HOOSIERS.

* You may add a additional cooling fan and/or cooler for transmission. They need to  Be in protected area. Brake duct work is optional 1- 3" vent to each brake only.

*  All safety will be checked. Be sure dates etc. are correct.

* Any missed discrepancies in the rules will be addressed during event. All officials Rulings are final.

* Weight may be used to equalize the competition.

We want this to be fair and well run, please help us by being right to the rules.
The easier tech is the more fun we can all have.

When coming to Friday pre-tech please have fire suit, helmet, gloves with you. Also have wrenches for air filter & carb.

All trucks are open to tech at anytime during the events between 11 a,m, Friday till after all tech is completed after the 200 Lap event.
Friday 1st round impounded trucks and then the 2nd round qualifying transfers and the last chance transfers will be teched after those events.

To clarify any questions please call
Carl Green 1-863-859-5525 or e-mail him at carl_green@floridalift.com

Tech will be headed up by Ted Head with assistance by Carl Green, Don Hellyer and Chris Brown.
